Ankitha Valdez's Story

 

Ankitha Valdez is 6 years old and was adopted when she was 2 from India. She was diagnosed with Retinopathy of Prematurity when she was 2 years old (a profound visual impairment). 16 months later at the age of 3, she was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkins Lymphoma. In January of 2021, at the age of 5, she was diagnosed with a very rare primary immune deficiency. She is the 9th person, and the first child, worldwide with the diagnosis of Bare Lymphocyte.
